The solution was to give the name ("MDM") to the Hub in the MDM EAR Project, then open each affected project and hit "Validate Model". It validated with no errors and the messages went away.

Unresolved Proxy Error Message
I received this error message when importing projects from another location into a fresh MDM workspace:
